About Nina

Having first visited the Outer Banks back in the late eighties, I was immediately enamored by its natural beauty and non-commercial feel so close to home. It’s the way the beach is meant to be experienced, raw and wide open. Today, this is why my family and I call it home.

My family’s passion for coastal food and the beach life landed us here in 2007. We opened Coastal Provisions restaurant and immediately saw a demand for wedding catering and related services. We’ve worked hundreds of weddings in all types of venues realizing Pelican’s Landing offers the “Outer Banks” experience for outdoor weddings in a private setting that is centrally located in the northern beaches. We treasure each and every client that chooses us to help them make their wedding spectacular.

Coastal Provisions has three restaurants – Coastal Provisions Wine Shop Café & Oyster Bar in Kitty Hawk, Cravings in Duck and Coastal Cantina in Duck. Our catering menu encompasses menu items from all three locations and more. Nothing tickles us more than when a couple thanks us over and over again for their perfect wedding at Pelican’s Landing paired with delicious unforgettable Coastal Provisions’ food.

As a member of the Outer Banks Wedding Association since 2006 we’ve had the honor to work with the area’s top wedding vendors. We are blessed to collaborate with these local wedding professionals to make every wedding great. In addition, we are actively involved in the community to give back and enrich the lives of those who live and visit the Outer Banks. The most popular events include -Taste of the Beach Chowder Cook-Off in March, Duck & Wine Festival in April, Oystoberfest in October.
