Having first visited the Outer Banks back in the late eighties, I was immediately enamored by its natural beauty and non-commercial feel so close to home. It’s the way the beach is meant to be experienced, raw and wide open. Today, this is why my family and I call it home.
My family’s passion for coastal food and the beach life landed us here in 2007. We opened Coastal Provisions restaurant and immediately saw a demand for wedding catering and related services. We’ve worked hundreds of weddings in all types of venues realizing Pelican’s Landing offers the “Outer Banks” experience for outdoor weddings in a private setting that is centrally located in the northern beaches. Although Coastal Provisions no longer offers off-site catering, we treasure each and every client that chooses Pelican’s Landing as their wedding venue. We are happy to share our experience to help make your wedding special and memorable.
Coastal Provisions has three restaurants – Coastal Provisions Wine Shop Café & Oyster Bar in Kitty Hawk, Cravings in Duck and Coastal Cantina in Duck. Coastal Provisions in Kitty Hawk and Cravings in Duck are open year round.
As a member of the Outer Banks Wedding Association since 2006 we’ve had the honor to work with the area’s top wedding vendors. We are blessed to collaborate with these local wedding professionals to make every wedding great. In addition, we are actively involved in the community to give back and enrich the lives of those who live and visit the Outer Banks. The most popular events include – a variety of Taste of the Beach events & the Outer Banks Chowder Cook-off in March; the Duck & Wine Festival, a local fundraiser for the Currituck – Dare Community Foundation, in April; and the Oystoberfest in October.
Our mission is to do our best to give you the best Outer Banks style experience with personal professional experience.
